“Our group of 10 travellers (Royal Caribbean Mariner of The Seas, 26th May 2013) were very impressed with the professionalism of New Mon, Arun, Girish and their team from "The Indian Journeys" We were collected from the ship in a clean air conditioned mini bus. Our drive to the houseboat was on a well maintained, not too busy road where our English speaking guide gave us an insight into the lives of the people and information on points of interest. We boarded our traditional style thatch-roofed houseboat, which is unique to Kerala (but fitted with solar panels, air conditioning and a neat clean kitchen) in the town of Alappuzha Our idyllic houseboat journey cruised us through palm shaded vine entwined backwaters where little communities were living their peaceful lives., with us as their curious, privileged audience. We were greeted with smiles, cheers and much waving and made to feel welcome. With the fragrance of curry in the air we eagerly anticipated lunch which was served at "Citrus" a great little 4 star hotel. Lunch was a good variety of foods with a very tasty Chicken curry. Two 750ml bottles of beer per person challenged each one of us! We cruised back all too soon We were returned to our cruise ship well before boarding time feeling exhilarated by our experience. All arrangements were carried out with respect and we felt safe in the very capable care of the smiling New Mon and his team. All 10 of us had a fantastic trouble free experience!

Yes, twice in the last three years. Absolutely wonderful in all respects. Newmon will arrange a tailor-made trip to suit your requirements. He provided the four of us with a 15 seater air con minibus with our own driver from start to finish (who new where to procure beer!). Everywhere we stayed was superb, from a magical homestay to the traditional luxury of Marari Beach and Kaav Lodge The lodge was a fabulous way to conclude our three weeks; atmospheric and maybe the most magical place we've stayed in. Options to join 3 or 4 safaris and see a huge variety of wildlife - including a tiger from 20 metres. Newmon is a great communicator, always patient and prepared to adapt and change until days before the holiday. Price is much better than any deals we could find on line. Several of our friends have used The Indian Journeys, two of them are out there now experiencing a carbon copy of our itinerary and all would share our enthusiasm. We booked our flights using Sky Scanner (Etihad) for £408. Could go on at length but must pay tribute to the delightful Kerala people, the scenery and maybe the best food you will ever eat.

We used Newmon at "The Indian Journeys» tour company for our 3 week no stop tour of India, which included Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Pushkar, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Kochi-Thekkady, Marari. He arranged all the hotels and transport, internal flights, the lot !!!! We had our own personal mini Van with our superb driver Pavan. At each stop we had a personal guide to tell us the history of the area and what we were seeing. There was no way we would have seen so much if Newmon had not organized our time so well. I found NewMon and The Indian Journeys by reading TripAdvisor Forums. I contacted him and he was professional and helpful in his prompt reply. I had a very short time to visit Kerala and would be traveling alone, so I wanted everything planned carefully. NewMon helped with every detail and had great suggestions based on the travel logistics and my interests. I was able to stay in 2 wonderful resorts, visit Periyer Reserve, enjoy an elephant encounter, tour a tea plantation and spice gardens. My driver Santhosh was with me the entire 4 days and transported me to the airport for my flight home. NewMon called every evening to make sure all was well and paid a visit in person to meet me prior to my departure from India. I was very pleased with the planning and professional follow up. I would definitely recommend and use again should I return to India.

"My family, some friends and I we did a 9 days trip in Kerala in Christmas 2013 with The Indian Journeys. Thanks to The Indian Journeys organization (which I have to say that it was very easy to work on it and helpful staff) we could visit the most iconic parts of Kerala on this time, travelling with a wonderful Van for 10 people and with a very friendly driver. The hotels were we stayed were good, new hotels and well managed, especially the Hindustan Beach Retreat in Varkala. The food in the restaurants that Newmon or the driver suggest us to go were delicious, and the activities programmed also very nice! And the Christmas and New Year's Eve gala's were very funny, something really unexpected! The only negative thing is that we just had 10 days....I wish I could extend our trip for a couple of weeks more!"
