BEST OF NORTH AND SOUTH KERALA

DAY – 1 – COCHIN SIGHTSEEING

On arrival at Kochi international airport (COK) you are met and assisted by our delegate and be

transferred to hotel. Time for acclimatization

Then proceed for a walking tour through the old colonial streets and rich culture of Kochi. This

strolling tour will take out the photography skills in you. Late afternoon enjoy a city tour. Visit

Mattancherry Palace / Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis church, Chinese fishing

nets and The Indo Portuguese Museum Evening watch the Kathakali dance show in a local air

conditioned theatre

DAY – 2 – COCHIN CALICUT SIGHTSEEING

Drive to Calicut after the breakfast. Arrive and register with the hotel in the evening. Kozhikode,

also known as Calicut a focal point of Malabar force under the Zamorins. Vasco da Gama arrived

at Kappad shoreline in Calicut. Late evening enjoy an orientation tour through the city.

DAY – 3 – CALICUT – VYTHIRI

Proceed to Vythiri after breakfast

Arrive Vythiri around noon and register with the resort. Slope ranges, Waterfall, spice plantations,

Wild life, Stone Age locales, and fog secured valleys are a percentage of the famous attractions

of Wayanad. Relax.

DAY – 4 – WAYANAD SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast take a trip to Muthanga / Tholpetty Wild life Park. Then enjoy a visit of Edakkal

caves, Meenmutti waterfalls, Heritage historical centre and so forth. Return to the resort in the

evening.

DAY – 5 – WAYANAD – GURUVAYUR

Post breakfast drive down to Guruvayur Arrive around late afternoon and register with the inn

Guruvayur is a sanctuary town in Kerala. The well known Sri Krishna Temple  is situated here.

Evening visit the Punnathur Kotta, elephant’s orphanage

DAY – 6 – GURUVAYUR – MUNNAR

Post breakfast drive to Munnar Enjoy the drive through the excellent scenes. Arrive Munnar and

register with the resort. If weather grants enjoy an orientation tour of Munnar town and markets

DAY – 7 – MUNNAR SIGHTSEEING

Post breakfast enjoy a full day tour through Munnar Visit Tea Museum, Top station, Mattupetty

Dam, Kundala dam and Eravikulam National park.

Evening return to the resort

DAY – 8 – MUNNAR THEKKADY

Post breakfast, drive to Periyar Tiger Reserve, one of the few in South India. Evening enjoy a

boat safari at Periyar Lake through the game park for two hours. Return to jungle lodge.

DAY – 9 – THEKKADY ALLEPPEY

Post breakfast drive down to Alleppey for boarding the houseboat. Alleppey the backwater resort

town in Kerala. Houseboat and backwaters are the real attractions here

DAY – 10 – ALLEPPEY COCHIN

In time transfer to Kochi International airport for connecting with your flight back home
